Job summary

Recruit Build Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Associate to lead its Project Management function, delivering a hands-on project portfolio while mentoring the PM team and shaping client development.

You will oversee delivery standards, QA, and governance across sectors including commercial, industrial, logistics, healthcare and education, with opportunities to influence the function and strategy within the business.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering projects from inception to completion.
• Formal Project Management training and recognised qualifications.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring or supporting other Project Managers.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of programme, risk, procurement and project delivery.
• Credibility to operate at Associate / senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management function and mentor the PM team.
• Manage and develop client relationships and business development opportunities.
• Oversee delivery standards, QA, governance and risk management across projects.
• Direct portfolio of fee-earning projects with hands-on delivery as needed.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to shape the PM function and its growth.
