Job summary

Jackson Civil Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for the Southern Region to lead diverse civil engineering projects, including highways and structures. You will oversee site teams, manage budgets, and ensure timely, profitable contract delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires extensive experience with mains contractors, relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS), and willingness to travel across the Southern Region; driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Site Agent or Project Manager on civil engineering projects.
• Strong background in highways, structures and heavy civil schemes.
• Qualified with SMSTS, CSCS and Temporary Works Coordinator.
• First Aid at Work desirable; NEC knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead site staff, operatives and sub-contractors to deliver projects.
• Prepare method statements, RAMS and Project Management plans.
• Monitor budgets and tender allowances; manage contract profitability.
• Develop and monitor project programmes and schedules.
• Foster client relations and manage design coordination; engage subcontractors.
