Jackson Civil Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects across the Kent and East Sussex region. The role involves managing site teams, coordinating with clients and supply chain, and delivering projects to programme and budget.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in highways and heavy civil schemes, demonstrate leadership and clear stakeholder communication, and hold a relevant qualification with a SMSTS and CSCS credentials.

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage projects across the Kent and East Sussex area.
We have secured several new projects in the region and have a strong pipeline of further opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering current and future projects, working closely with our operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be based within the wider Kent and East Sussex area to support project delivery across the region.
The successful candidate will have experience working for a main contractor on civil engineering projects, with a strong background in highways, structures and heavy civil engineering schemes.
You will possess excellent technical knowledge alongside proven people management experience, with the ability to lead teams effectively, communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders, and delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure successful project delivery.
Applicants should be an experienced Senior Site Agent or Project Manager and hold a relevant industry qualification (HND, HNC, BEng or equivalent), together with a valid SMSTS qualification, appropriate CSCS card and Temporary Works Coordinator qualification. A First Aid at Work qualification is desirable, and knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout our Southern Region and hold a full UK driving licence.
