Jackson Civil Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for the Southern Region to lead diverse civil engineering projects, including highways and structures. You will oversee site teams, manage budgets, and ensure timely, profitable contract delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.
The role requires extensive experience with mains contractors, relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS), and willingness to travel across the Southern Region; driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will have experience working for a main contractor on civil engineering projects, with a strong background in highways, structures and heavy civil engineering schemes. You will possess excellent technical knowledge alongside proven people management experience, with the ability to lead teams effectively, communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders, and delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure successful project delivery.
Applicants should be an experienced Senior Site Agent or Project Manager and hold a relevant industry qualification (HND, HNC, BEng or equivalent), together with a valid SMSTS qualification, appropriate CSCS card and Temporary Works Coordinator qualification. A First Aid at Work qualification is desirable, and knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout our Southern Region and hold a full UK driving licence.
