Jackson Civil Engineering Ltd is seeking a capable Site Manager to support the Site Agent or Project Manager in delivering civil engineering projects, including highways and river works, across the Southern Region. You will coordinate site teams, sub-contractors, and design coordination to ensure safe, timely, and profitable project completion.

Essential: NEC contract experience, SMSTS (or equivalent), and a relevant industry qualification.

Competenze

• Experience with main contractor civil projects.
• Strong highways and river works background.
• Willingness to travel across the Southern Region.
• NEC contract experience and SMSTS qualification.

Mansioni

• Support the Site Agent or Project Manager in the execution of duties and management of smaller construction contracts.
• Manage site staff operatives and sub-contractors.
• Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans.
• Understand tender allowances and monitor contract costs against budgets.
• Prepare and monitor programmes of work.
• Assess and engage sub-contractors.
• Manage design co-ordination.
• Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contracts.
• Inform, consult, and involve local groups as necessary.
• Foster good relations with clients and maintain a positive, proactive team attitude.
