Jackson Civil Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects across the Kent and East Sussex region. The role involves managing site teams, coordinating with clients and supply chain, and delivering projects to programme and budget.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in highways and heavy civil schemes, demonstrate leadership and clear stakeholder communication, and hold a relevant qualification with a SMSTS and CSCS credentials.

Qualifications

• Senior Site Agent or Project Manager with civil engineering experience.
• Strong highways and heavy civil engineering background.
• Proven people management and stakeholder communication.
• Willingness to travel across Kent and East Sussex; UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage site staff, operatives and sub-contractors.
• Provide method statements, risk assessments, and PM plans.
• Monitor budgets and contract allowances; track programme.
• Oversee design coordination and sub-contractor engagement.
• Ensure timely and profitable contract delivery; mentor junior staff.
• Foster client relations and effective communication with stakeholders.
