Job summary

Prosper Consulting in Central London (Farringdon) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead capital projects across heritage, healthcare, education and local authority sectors. Some travel across London and the South East, with a focus on delivering schemes from refurbishment to new builds, ensuring projects reach Practical Completion.

You will mentor junior consultants, work with design and delivery teams, and thrive in a growing, inclusive environment with hybrid working 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience with a UK based property/construction consultancy.
• Strong technical experience in refurbishment/conversion/extension/new build.
• Experience in contract administration (NEC or JCT).
• Ability to drive projects through delivery to Practical Completion.
• Ideally chartered (MRICS OR MCIOB).
• Experience in Heritage, Healthcare, Education or Local Authority sectors.
• Mentor junior consultants and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of capital projects.
• Travel across London and the South East; occasional UK travel.
• Work on schemes including museums and NHS projects; refurbishments and newbuilds.

The Role:

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead in the development and delivery of capital projects. The role will include some travel across London and the South East and on occasion to elsewhere in the UK.

You will work on various schemes including some of the country’s most important museums and significant heritage buildings and critical NHS projects to improve hospital capacity in London.

In addition, there will also be local authority refurbishment and education projects - values range between £100K - £100M.

Requirements for the Senior Project Manager:

• 4+ years’ experience with a UK based property / construction consultancy
• Have a strong technical experience of refurbishment/conversion/extension/new build, possibly from a building surveying, quantity surveying, architectural, or engineering background
• Have experience of contract administration (ideally NEC or JCT)
• Have a particular focus on driving projects through delivery to Practical Completion
• Ideally chartered (MRICS OR MCIOB)
• Experience in one of their listed sectors (ideally)
• Thrive as part of a growing team, helping to mentor junior consultants and apprentices
