Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a Project Manager to lead major high-rise residential refurbishment and capital investment projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to deliver safely, on time and within budget, while engaging residents and stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive building safety knowledge and experience with NEC/JCT contract environments, with the ability to drive value for money and quality in occupied settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering high-rise construction/refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Building Safety, CDM Regulations, and residential compliance.
• Ability to manage programmes, budgets, risks and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major high-rise residential refurbishment, building safety and capital investment projects.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, risks, and contractor performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee consultants, contractors and residents to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with Building Safety requirements, CDM Regulations and statutory obligations.
