Qualifications

• Significant experience managing Decent Homes, capital works and other major works programmes within housing, property or construction.
• Strong contract management expertise and knowledge of housing construction, building regulations and health & safety.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents, contractors and colleagues.
• Practical and innovative approach to resolving challenges and managing risk.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and budgets with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Managing Decent Homes and other major works from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and health & safety requirements.
• Overseeing contractor performance, monitoring budgets, programmes, cashflows and KPIs to ensure value for money and on-time delivery.
• Undertaking property surveys, inspections, defect analysis and preparing detailed specifications and schedules of work.
• Building strong relationships with residents, contractors and internal teams to maintain excellent customer service and resolve issues effectively.
• Managing project documentation, financial controls, leaseholder coordination and handover processes across the lifecycle.
