Talk Staff Group Limited is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a North Derbyshire-based role. You will oversee the project delivery lifecycle from entry to closure and own the organisation’s transformation portfolio.

The role requires experience in project management, team leadership, and a solid grasp of Waterfall and Agile methodologies. A strong emphasis on stakeholder communication and MS Office proficiency is essential.

• Deputise for the PMO Manager and promote PMO best practices.
• Drive project evolution to support company strategy.

Job description

Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager for their growing business based in North Derbyshire. You will be responsible for directly managing the project delivery process from entry to closure.

Requirements

• Previous project management experience
• Experience of managing or leading a team
• Strong organisational skills
• Knowledge of Waterfall & Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of MS Office & Internal Systems
• Excellent communication skills, able to manage stakeholders confidently

The successful candidate will have experience within project & programme management. You will have experience within a senior level role ideally or ready to take the next step. Having project certification (APM/Prince2) is advantageous!

Responsibilities

• Managing the project delivery process from entry to closure
• Managing & owning the entire companies transformation project portfolio, ensuring projects are run to agreed timescales and deadlines
• Managing of resources and budgets for projects, ensuring that risks are identified & mitigated
• Taking ownership & delivery of programmes & transformation work streams
• Delivering projects to the wider programme timelines and strategies
• Leading strategic projects, ensuring larger projects are set up, scoped, resourced & delivered to business needs and objectives
• Deputising for the PMO Manager
• Implementing of PMO best practices and the companies project evolution

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary is £55,000 per annum, plus bonus
• Monday to Friday, Full Time Hours – Hybrid model
• Company Pension Scheme
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
