Job summary

Talk Staff Recruitment in North Derbyshire is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the project delivery lifecycle from entry to closure and to drive the transformation programme across the company.

The successful candidate will have team leadership experience, strong organisational skills, and knowledge of Waterfall and Agile. The role offers a hybrid working pattern, a £55,000 base salary with bonus and a company pension scheme.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the project delivery process from entry to closure.
• Own and manage the entire companies transformation project portfolio, ensuring projects are run to agreed timescales and deadlines.
• Manage resources and budgets for projects, ensuring that risks are identified & mitigated.
• Take ownership & delivery of programmes & transformation work streams.
• Deliver projects to the wider programme timelines and strategies.
• Lead strategic projects, ensuring larger projects are set up, scoped, resourced & delivered to business needs and objectives.
• Deputising for the PMO Manager.
• Implementing of PMO best practices and the companies project evolution.

Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager for their growing business based in North Derbyshire. You will be responsible for directly managing the project delivery process from entry to closure.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

• Experience of managing or leading a team


• Strong organisational skills


• Knowledge of Waterfall & Agile methodologies


• Knowledge of MS Office & Internal Systems


• Excellent communication skills, able to manage stakeholders confidently

The successful candidate will have experience within project & programme management. You will have experience within a senior level role ideally or ready to take the next step. Having project certification (APM/Prince2) is advantageous!

Within this position, you’ll also be:

• Managing the project delivery process from entry to closure


• Managing & owning the entire companies transformation project portfolio, ensuring projects are run to agreed timescales and deadlines


• Managing of resources and budgets for projects, ensuring that risks are identified & mitigated


• Taking ownership & delivery of programmes & transformation work streams

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £55,000 per annum, plus bonus
