Job summary

Talk Staff Group Limited is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a growing business based in North Derbyshire. You will directly manage the project delivery process from entry to closure and own the transformation project portfolio, ensuring projects meet timescales and business objectives.

The ideal candidate has senior-level project or programme management experience, leads teams, and is proficient in Waterfall and Agile methodologies with MS Office and internal systems.

• Taking ownership & delivery of programmes & transformation work streams.
• Delivering projects to the wider programme timelines and strategies.
• Leading strategic projects; ensuring set up, resourcing and delivery.

Job description

Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager for their growing business based in North Derbyshire. You will be responsible for directly managing the project delivery process from entry to closure.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

• Previous project management experience
• Experience of managing or leading a team
• Strong organisational skills
• Knowledge of Waterfall & Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of MS Office & Internal Systems
• Excellent communication skills, able to manage stakeholders confidently

The successful candidate will have experience within project & programme management. You will have experience within a senior level role ideally or ready to take the next step. Having project certification (APM/Prince2) is advantageous!

Within this position, you'll also be:

• Managing the project delivery process from entry to closure
• Managing & owning the entire companies transformation project portfolio, ensuring projects are run to agreed timescales and deadlines
• Managing of resources and budgets for projects, ensuring that risks are identified & mitigated
• Taking ownership & delivery of programmes & transformation work streams
• Delivering projects to the wider programme timelines and strategies
• Leading strategic projects, ensuring larger projects are set up, scoped, resourced & delivered to business needs and objectives
• Deputising for the PMO Manager
• Implementing of PMO best practices and the companies project evolution

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £55,000 per annum, plus bonus

Monday to Friday, Full Time Hours - Hybrid model
