Job summary

Dexter Talent is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Lancashire with a hybrid working pattern and a salary up to £50,000, depending on experience. The role involves ownership of complex, client-facing project and programme delivery and mentoring junior PMs.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, manage stakeholders at all levels and contribute to pre-sales scoping and estimating while driving improvements in delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Client-facing PM with strong delivery track record.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects/programmes in a commercial environment.
• Experience managing large project budgets.
• Strong stakeholder management at all levels.
• Background in SaaS or software delivery environments.
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies.
• PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualifications.
• MSP Foundation and Practitioner qualifications.
• Experience with project portfolio management tools.
• Background in regulated or specialist industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects and programmes.

• Produce and maintain key project artefacts, business cases, status reports and financial tracking.
• Support pre-sales activity through scoping, planning and estimating.

Senior Project Manager | Lancashire (Hybrid) | Up to £50,000

A fantastic client of ours is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their delivery team. You'll be taking ownership of complex, client-facing project and programme delivery while also playing a key role in mentoring and developing junior members of the PM team.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects and programmes, managing time, cost, quality and scope
• Managing client stakeholders from project team level through to executive and board level
• Producing and maintaining key project artefacts, business cases, status reports and financial tracking
• Supporting pre-sales activity through scoping, planning and estimating
• Driving continuous improvement across delivery frameworks, processes and templates
• Supporting, mentoring and potentially line managing junior Project Managers

You'll need:

• Strong foundation in a client-facing project management role
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects and programmes in a commercial environment
• Experience managing large project budgets
• Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
• Background in SaaS or software delivery environments
