Job summary

Advanced Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own projects from concept through to commissioning and final sign-off at the Huntington area site. The role involves coordinating Sales, Design, Manufacturing and Installation teams with regular UK travel.

The successful candidate will manage projects for processing and packaging machinery, reading engineering drawings (CAD) and using MS Projects to track progress. This is a site-based, full-time position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering projects including installation of capital equipment or automation machinery.
• Experience within OEM/manufacturer of technical products or processing machinery is beneficial.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD designs (SolidWorks or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initial concept through to commissioning and sign-off.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Design, Manufacturing and Installation.
• Engage with customers to ensure delivery on time, on budget and to specification.

Are you an experienced Project Manager or Senior Engineer with a background within engineering / manufacturing? This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of projects from initial concept and customer engagement through to detailed engineering, manufacture, installation, commissioning and final sign-off. Monday - Friday days. This is a full-time position based at the company's Huntington office, with regular UK and international travel.

Site-based near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, with regular travel to customer sites across the UK & occasionally Europe

A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery is actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their in-house Projects Department.

Their innovative processing and packaging line equipment is used across a wide variety of industries including food & FMCG.

The Senior Project Manager will work across the Sales, Design, Manufacturing & Installation Teams to deliver the full life cycle of projects from initial customer interactions through to commissioning and sign off.

This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments in automation & robotics, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means your work will be interesting and varied.

Applications are invited from Technical Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers who have a proven track record of delivering projects which include installation of special purpose equipment, capital equipment or automation machinery.

Previous experience of working for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), manufacturer of technical products or processing machinery used within regulated sectors such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries would be beneficial but not essential.

You will need to be able to read engineering drawings and CAD designs (Solidworks or similar), and have used MS Projects or equivalent software.
