Job summary

Auxo Talent seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of capital equipment and automation projects from initial client contact to commissioning and sign-off. The role sits site-based in St Ives, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, with regular travel to customer sites across the UK and occasional Europe.

You will work across Sales, Design, Manufacturing and Installation teams, reading engineering drawings (SolidWorks or similar) and using MS Projects or equivalent to manage

Qualifications

• Experience delivering capital equipment or automation projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD designs.
• Experience with OEMs or regulated sectors is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full life cycle of projects from initial customer interactions through commissioning and sign-off.
• Collaborate with Sales, Design, Manufacturing and Installation teams.
• Coordinate site-based projects across the UK with occasional travel to Europe.
• Read engineering drawings and CAD designs (SolidWorks or similar).

A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery is actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their in-house Projects Department.

Their innovative processing and packaging line equipment is used across a wide variety of industries including food & FMCG.

The Senior Project Manager will work across the Sales, Design, Manufacturing & Installation Teams to deliver the full life cycle of projects from initial customer interactions through to commissioning and sign off.

This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments in automation & robotics, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means your work will be interesting and varied.

Applications are invited from Technical Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers who have a proven track record of delivering projects which include installation of special purpose equipment, capital equipment or automation machinery.

Previous experience of working for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), manufacturer of technical products or processing machinery used within regulated sectors such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries would be beneficial but not essential.

You will need to be able to read engineering drawings and CAD designs (Solidworks or similar), and have used MS Projects or equivalent software.
