Niyaa People is partnering with a leading social housing contractor in Sheffield to recruit a Senior Project Manager. You will oversee multiple retrofit and capital works projects, manage site teams, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while maintaining safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will have CSCS and SMSTS, a Level 4 qualification (NVQ4 or HNC), and a full driving licence. Car allowance or company car, discretionary bonus up to 10%, and generous leave are on offer.

We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager for a leading social housing contractor based in Sheffield, delivering retrofit and capital works programmes across Yorkshire and the wider region!

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple social housing retrofit and refurbishment projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget. You will lead Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and Customer Liaison Officers, overseeing quality, programme delivery and client relationships.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee multiple projects, manage operational teams and ensure works meet programme, budget, quality and health and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing social housing retrofit and capital works programmes

• Coordinating programmes, labour, materials and subcontractors
• Monitoring budgets, costs, quality and project progress

The successfulSenior Project Managerwill have:

• Construction project management experience, ideally within social housing, retrofit or capital works
• Experience managing multiple projects and site teams
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills
• A good understanding of health and safety legislation, including CDM
• SMSTS certification
• A minimum Level 4 qualification, such as an NVQ4 or HNC
• An appropriate CSCS card
• First Aid at Work certification
• A full, valid driving licence

Retrofit experience and a background working for a Tier 1 contractor within social housing would be advantageous.

This role would suit an experienced construction professional looking to manage major retrofit programmes with a leading contractor.
