A regional health authority in Carmarthen is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead digital transformation projects. Ideal candidates will have a degree and experience in project management. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project delivery. Experience in healthcare and familiarity with Welsh language is advantageous. Applications are invited for the post of a Senior Project Manager to join the Digital Innovation & Transformation Team within Hywel Dda, to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a key strategic digital projects within the Health Community.
The post holder will be responsible for managing and controlling the delivery of complex digital projects which form part of Digital Response strategic aims and are key to the successful implementation of the Health Board's Strategy.
We are keen to recruit experienced project managers who are passionate about what they do and want to make a difference for patients and our communities. Whilst some knowledge of working within a digital environment is useful, it is not essential. We are looking for someone who can work successfully as part of a team but take initiative and lead when appropriate.
The applicant should hold a project management qualification such as APMP or PRINCE2 and have experience of managing multiple projects within a programme or portfolio. They will have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and able to use those skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, organise events or workshops and to ensure initiation and delivery of multiple projects successfully.
