Job summary

Magnox (NRS) seeks a Major Project Manager to deliver the Dungeness A Boilers Removal Project safely, on time, and within budget. You will report to the Paired Sites Programme Manager and play a key role in a leadership team delivering one of the UK’s strategically significant projects.

You will drive full lifecycle delivery, assemble and guide a high-performing team, and ensure rigorous safety and regulatory compliance throughout the programme.

Qualifications

• Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) is essential.
• CITB SMTS or IOSH safety qualifications are desirable.
• Proven senior leadership experience in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of the Dungeness Boilers Removal Project to safety, cost, and schedule targets.
• Inspire and develop high-performing cross-functional teams across site and organisation.
• Champion safety and embed a proactive safety culture while driving performance improvements.
• Define and maintain project structure and resource strategy for optimal delivery.
• Engage strategically with NDA, regulators, community stakeholders, and internal leadership.
• Lead with inclusive, values-driven leadership and empower teams to deliver ambitious goals.
• Innovate within regulatory boundaries and advocate for modern delivery practices and digital tools.
