Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Project Director to lead the Dungeness Boilers decommissioning programme in the UK, with full accountability for safety, cost, schedule and stakeholder engagement.

You will shape strategy across design, engineering, radiological risk, asbestos removal, demolition and commercial management, delivering complex nationwide infrastructure in a regulated nuclear environment with a large workforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years’ experience delivering major infrastructure programmes within the UK or international infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record operating as Project Director or equivalent on complex infrastructure programmes.
• Experience delivering demolition, decommissioning and nuclear sector projects with multiple delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the delivery of the Dungeness Boilers programme, ensuring alignment with strategy and client requirements.
• Define and implement the overall programme delivery strategy including governance and delivery model.
• Lead governance and risk management across project functions and stakeholders.
• Maintain safety, quality and sustainability performance across all programme activities.
• Build trusted relationships with government stakeholders, clients and regulators and drive value through disciplined commercial governance.
