Job summary

Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support multi-disciplinary decommissioning projects at Dounreay. You will assist in planning, coordinating activities and maintaining project programmes with a focus on safety and high quality outputs.

Working with Project Managers and delivery teams, you will monitor performance, manage risks and help deliver projects on time and within budget, contributing to critical national objectives in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Technical background in engineering, science or regulated environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, structured problem solving and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and delivery of decommissioning projects.
• Monitor safety, cost, quality and schedule performance and flag deviations.
• Coordinate documentation, requirements, safety and works control records.
• Assist with project handovers, resource planning and stakeholder engagement.
