Job summary

Lanesra Technical Recruitment Ltd client seeks a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer (Water) to lead design, construction, commissioning and handover of water projects in the Severn Trent Water programme. Hybrid working in Derby/Nottinghamshire with rate £450-£500 Inside IR35.

You will coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical or MEICA elements, manage programmes, drive value through innovations, manage risk and ensure health and safety compliance while delivering to time and budget.

Qualifications

• Project management experience and ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Experience with water / wastewater projects and NEC4 contracts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and end users.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations including CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Input to and update construction programmes to meet milestones.
• Chair collaborative planning sessions with stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue invitations to tender and analyse responses.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between engineering teams and supply chain partners.
• Manage site team and escalate issues as needed.
• Drive innovation and safer, cost-effective project delivery.
