Job summary

HS2 Ltd in Milton Keynes/Bicester Hybrid is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead risk-based engineering assurance within the IPT, ensuring assets meet HS2 standards and schedule. You will discharge NEC3 Supervisor and CDM roles, and align design with sponsor requirements while guiding the integration of complex contracts.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status and experience on large infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and safety standards on large infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of UK construction regulations including CDM requirements.
• Right to Work in the UK; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based engineering technical assurance within the IPT and submit assurance evidence for technical stage gates.
• Ensure design and construction of assets comply with standards and sponsor requirements; support Technical Assurance Reviews.
• Discharge NEC3 Supervisor and CDM Principal Designer responsibilities as directed.
• Report and identify risk; communicate engineering requirements to IPT contractor.
• Coordinate technical integration of supply contracts with other contracts and projects.
