Job summary

HS2 Ltd is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer to deliver cost-effective and safe design solutions for major infrastructure projects in the UK.

You will review technical submissions, engage with stakeholders, and support the design programme to ensure on-time, compliant delivery. The role emphasises collaboration, innovation and maintaining safety standards across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Working towards or achieved professional membership.
• UK construction regulations including CDM Regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Participate in productivity management with internal and supply chain partners.
• Deliver safe, affordable design solutions that meet CDM requirements and deliver value.
• Support Senior Project Engineer in managing the design programme and reporting issues.
• Assist consultants to deliver compliant design work with internal experts.
• Ensure design risks are fully considered and communicated.
