Job summary

Amentum is recruiting a Project Director to join the team in Warrington or Cumbria. You will lead a major PPP project with an approximate value of £700m, ensuring successful delivery and performance.

We seek Chartered engineers with significant Project Director-level experience, strong commercial and governance skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across a complex, matrix organisation with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering/Construction/Project Management or related, with Chartered status.
• Significant Project Director-level experience leading major, complex programmes.
• Strong commercial and delivery capability, including contract management and governance.
• Proven senior leadership and client-facing experience.
• Ability to lead within a complex, matrix organisation and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a major PPP project with overall accountability for delivery and performance.
• Develop and lead a high-performing delivery team with resource deployment.
• Provide governance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Represent Amentum in senior discussions and performance reviews.
• Embed the PPP Way and promote safe, predictable, and commercially successful delivery.
