Job summary

Amentum in the Warrington or Cumbria region is recruiting a Project Director to lead a major PPP project valued at ~£700m and take overall accountability for delivery and performance.

You will develop and lead a high‑performing project delivery team, deploy resources to meet project and customer demands, provide strong governance across the Sellafield lifecycle, and represent Amentum in senior discussions with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, with Chartered status (ChPP, APM or equivalent).
• Significant Project Director-level experience leading major, complex engineering, infrastructure or EPC(M) programmes and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial and delivery capability, including contract management, project controls, governance and performance.
• Proven senior leadership and client-facing experience, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence key stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to customer and project locations as required.
