Job summary

Arup is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to lead project management and business development in the North-West of England. You will develop client relationships, shape bids, and manage major infrastructure programmes across delivery teams and stakeholders.

The role requires experience in delivering complex projects, a degree in engineering/architecture or equivalent, and professional accreditation such as APM.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, architecture or project/construction management (or similar) and professional accreditation/certification such as APM (or similar) in the PPM environment.
• Proven capability to develop new client relationships, identify opportunities and win new project work.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects, programmes or frameworks with a client-facing delivery approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen client relationships, identify opportunities and bid for new work.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate delivery excellence across time, cost, quality and sustainability objectives.
• Coach and support the development of junior colleagues.
