Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Consultant in Advisory Services to help deliver major UK infrastructure programmes. You will work across the full project lifecycle, advising on governance, design management, and delivery models to improve outcomes.

The role offers exposure to energy, water and transport sectors and opportunities to mentor junior colleagues. You will partner with clients to strengthen processes, enable effective stakeholder engagement, and implement robust reporting and controls,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major capital projects or infrastructure programmes.
• Background in project management, programme management or PMO.
• Understanding of project governance, risk management and change control.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in MS Office; report and MI preparation.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients across the full project lifecycle to improve delivery capabilities.
• Support clients from definition through design, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Advise on project delivery models, governance, and commercial reporting.
• Strengthen design management and technical assurance arrangements.
• Help organisations adopt new ways of working and develop junior colleagues.
