Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant in advisory services to drive project delivery across major capital programmes. You will work with clients from early definition through commissioning, helping improve governance, delivery processes and controls.

This role offers exposure to energy, water and transport sectors, collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, and opportunities to develop junior colleagues within a growing advisory community.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major capital projects or infrastructure programmes.
• Background in project management, programme management, PMO, or advisory services.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle from definition to handover.
• Experience with governance, risk management, change control, and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into practical recommendations.
• Strong MS Office skills for reports and presentations.

• Advise on project delivery models and governance across programmes.
• Strengthen design management and technical assurance arrangements.
• Improve change and risk management processes and reporting.
• Support stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary delivery teams and NEC contract guidance.
