Job Description:

At Babcock, we're working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Fleet Programmes Senior Project Controls Manager at our Babcock Clyde site.

The role

As a Fleet Programmes Senior Project Controls Manager, you will lead the central hub of the Fleet Operations project, producing functional plans aligned with strategic objectives. You will manage Area Managers, influence senior managers, and handle stakeholder management for all Submarine Delivery Agency Project Management Office programmes, including commercial and financial interfaces. You will report to the Head of Fleet Programmes and guide four Department Heads.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivery of Fleet Operations Project Control
• SDA PMO contract reporting and governance interface
• Producing monthly programme and business management reports
• Applying Babcock's Principles in stakeholder and people management
• Driving continuous improvement in line with best practices and policies

This is a full-time role (36 hours/week), primarily based in Faslane with hybrid arrangements.

Essential Experience:

• Extensive Project Controls knowledge and experience

Qualifications:

• BSc in Business, Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
• Commercial Qualification (NEC/Single Source Regulations or Introduction to Commercial)
• APM Project Management Qualification
• APM Project Professional Qualification

Security Clearance:

The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
