Overview Of The Role

Mott MacDonald is looking to hire a Senior Project Controls Manager to join our team, providing a range of PMO and Controls services to clients across infrastructure and the built environment, including global programmes.

What you will contribute to the team:

• Analytical skills to evaluate performance measures and trends across datasets.
• Ability to focus on key issues and drive mitigation or recovery actions.
• People management and task facilitation skills.
• Experience implementing project controls processes and tools in relevant industries.

Candidate Specification

Essential:

• Security clearance may be required.
• Experience on large infrastructure projects in sectors like water, transport, nuclear, defence.
• Degree or project controls/management qualification (e.g., APMG, EVM, PMQ, Prince2).
• Flexibility to travel and work in different sectors.
• Risk management and reporting skills, including ARM.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software.
• Ability to create and maintain project schedules.
• Experience with project reporting and KPIs.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and work as a client-facing consultant.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

• Support project managers in change management.
• Experience with project plans and PMO functions.
• Knowledge of PowerBI.
