Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Engineer to lead planning, scheduling and cost management for major capital projects in the energy sector. You will develop integrated schedules, manage budgets and forecasts, analyze performance, and provide timely reporting to support decisions.

You will work with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient delivery and alignment with cost, schedule and performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant Project Controls experience with emphasis on planning, scheduling and cost management.
• Experience supporting major capital projects in energy, oil & gas, infrastructure or utilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules and cost reports.
• Knowledge of WBS, CBS and project control methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving with ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Prepare budgets, cost plans, forecasts and monitor expenditures.
• Provide weekly/monthly dashboards and reporting on cost and schedule performance.
• Integrate schedule, cost, risk and change information for a holistic view.
• Support risk identification, assessment and mitigation activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and client stakeholders.
