Job summary

LTS Architects in London are seeking a senior project architect to join our team in London. This full‑time role offers a salary of £50,000–£58,000 depending on experience, with projects mainly in education and sacred spaces, and a focus on conservation, sustainability and making the most of existing buildings.

You will run projects from briefing to completion, balancing hands-on design with directing others, and will hold client relationships while coordinating the design team and mentoring

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of post-qualification experience in architecture.
• Strong portfolio with concept work and built detailing.
• Ability to lead multiple projects across RIBA stages 0–7.
• Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and construction detailing.
• Commercial awareness to manage time and fees.
• Comfort presenting to clients and clear writing.
• Eligible to work permanently in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Run projects from briefing through planning, design, and contract administration.
• Lead a design team with ~2 support staff depending on project size.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate the design team.
• Mentor junior colleagues and ensure consistent drawing quality and detailing.
