Job summary

Centrica is seeking five Senior Programme Managers to lead end-to-end delivery of major programmes within its Group Transformation function. You will partner with senior leaders, technology teams, and delivery partners to ensure strategic initiatives are executed with pace and purpose.

The role requires experience in complex, regulated environments, multi-workstream initiatives (£5m–£20m), and the ability to balance technology with business change in digital or operational transformations.

Qualifications

• Experience in programme or large-scale project delivery within regulated or complex environments.
• Proven success delivering multi-workstream initiatives (£5m–£20m) from start to benefits realisation.
• Experience in hybrid/matrix organisations with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience balancing technology and business change delivery in digital or operational transformations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of major programmes supporting Centrica’s strategic priorities.
• Shape programme vision, strategy and structure with clear roadmaps and KPIs.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams (internal and partner-based) to deliver at scale.
• Drive governance, financial control and benefits realisation across programmes.
• Build relationships with Directors and Executives across Retail, Group, Technology, Operations and Finance.
• Coach and mentor Programme Managers and Project Managers.
