Job summary

VWFS UK is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of highly complex change initiatives in a regulated environment. You will manage multi-project programmes, aligning people, plans, budgets, and dependencies to keep major initiatives moving forward.

You will combine strong delivery and commercial judgment with an agile mindset, guiding matrix teams and coordinating with senior stakeholders to drive outcomes that support VWFS UK's strategic mobility mission.

Qualifications

• Delivery of large, complex multi-project programmes in lean-agile environments.
• Experience across Agile, Waterfall and iterative methodologies with lean-agile qualification.
• Significant experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and business cases in regulated environments.
• Proven leadership of matrix teams with coaching and mentoring to improve performance.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers through the project lifecycle.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and influencing skills at Director/Board level.
• Deep understanding of risk, governance and regulatory requirements in financial services.
• Integrity-driven, customer-focused mindset with growth orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects and programmes using appropriate methodologies.
• Own delivery against scope, budgets, quality and timescales with multi-million budgets.
• Develop and coach project managers across a matrix organization.
• Build robust business cases outlining costs, benefits and ROI.
• Influence senior stakeholders and provide clear updates at Steering Committee/Board level.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies with effective controls.
• Oversee third-party suppliers for performance and seamless integration into delivery plans.
• Ensure smooth transition of projects into business with compliant operating models.
