Job summary

The Senior Programme Advisor (SPA) in WWF-UK’s Asia team will focus on delivering a large 3-year corporate partnership addressing freshwater issues in Asia, with emphasis on India, China and Indonesia’s palm oil sector, including advocacy, learning, and knowledge sharing to test new approaches.

Based in the UK at the Living Planet Centre, this role requires strong programmatic leadership, cross-organisation collaboration, and strategic fundraising to support coherent delivery and donor

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programmatic inputs across multiple geographies and ensuring coherence with the Theory of Change.
• Strategic leadership and oversight of conservation work with emphasis on India and Indonesia.
• Ability to liaise with Corporate Partnerships to align programmatic needs and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Overall coordination of partnership components (on-ground conservation in 4 geographies, advocacy and communications, research, learning and knowledge exchange).
• Provide strategic programmatic leadership and oversight of conservation work, focusing on India and Indonesia.
• Identify areas for programmatic development based on corporate partnership ambitions.
• Liaise with Senior Relationship Manager to align Conservation Programmes with Corporate Partnerships for effective delivery.
• convene stakeholder engagement with Asia partner offices, WWF-UK, wider WWF Network, and external organisations.
• Coordinate with WWF Network to support delivery of network ambitions and mutual benefits within the partnership.
• Oversee international grants within the partnership portfolio.
• Lead on developing fundraising propositions for donor renewal.
