Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is partnering with a market leading manufacturing company in Dudley to recruit a Production Supervisor. You will directly manage 5 shift leaders and ~30 staff across wood mill, upholstery, dispatch, sewing and pre-build areas, ensuring the production plan is delivered efficiently.

The role focuses on people management and shop floor supervision with regular overtime; shift options are 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Production supervisor or similar from factory/manufacturing background.
• Experience managing teams of around 30 staff with 5 direct reports.
• Shift-based, Monday to Friday with potential overtime and the need to problem solve on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shop floor operations across the manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimise production workflows.
• Directly manage 5 direct reports and ~30 staff to deliver the production plan.
