Job summary

Origin UK Operations and Origin Amenity seeks a Production & Logistics Team Leader to coordinate efficient order processing and ensure on-time delivery across the UK and Ireland. You will manage direct order purchasing, supplier communications, stock control, and production planning to support demand and stock availability.

Working with Sales, Operations, Production and external logistics providers, you will obtain competitive haulage quotations, arrange transport, and oversee inbound/outbound

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics and distribution coordination.
• Ability to source and negotiate competitive haulage and transport solutions.
• Inventory and stock management including production planning and replenishment control.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the timely processing of orders across UK and Ireland with focus on on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Raise purchase orders with suppliers, secure confirmations and align with delivery dates.
• Obtain minimum three haulage quotations for full loads and communicate best options to Sales.
• Arrange haulage for full loads and prepare paperwork for yard team with adequate notice.
• Oversee Mona production and component stock, raising production orders from sales orders.
• Monitor Mona component stock levels and coordinate replenishment with Production Team.
• Coordinate all returns and credit notes, confirming stock condition and location.
• Procure haulage for export movements, ensuring competitive rates and clear communication.
• Plan inbound/outbound movements for Irish depot and liaise with the Irish team daily.
• Coordinate bulk haulage cover with Green-tree Operations Manager to maintain continuity.
