Origin UK Operations is seeking a despatch coordinator on a fixed term maternity cover to manage daily despatch activities and ensure orders are processed, shipped and invoiced accurately and on time.

You will coordinate pallet network bookings, oversee haulier invoices and stock transfers, and work closely with Operations, Production, Warehouse and Logistics to maintain data integrity and reliable customer service.

• Strong logistics and despatch coordination skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
• Experience with freight management, pallet networks or transport booking systems.
• Organised with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Inventory management and stock control experience.
• Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies in operational, stock and delivery areas.
• Good analytical skills to identify trends and process improvements.
• Experience processing and validating invoices and freight charges.
• Knowledge of haulage operations and transport administration.
• Strong communication across warehouse, production, operations and sales teams.

Mansioni

• Coordinate daily despatch of all orders to ensure efficient flow to the yard team.
• Manifest pallets through Palletforce system for requested delivery dates.
• Ensure despatch information is complete for timely deliveries.
• Monitor orders in SmartFreight portal and resolve issues.
• Escalate concerns to Operations and Logistics Manager as needed.
• Oversee automatic invoicing and resolve delivery-noted discrepancies.
• Ensure orders are processed to support accurate invoicing and records.
• Check and approve haulier invoices for correct rates and services.
• Make haulier insurance claims for damaged orders and seek credits.
• Investigate discrepancies and obtain adjustments from hauliers.
• Oversee receipting of production orders into stock with operations.
• Ensure stock is received accurately and sales orders released for dispatch.
• Process stock transfers per yard team instructions.
• Maintain stock locations and traceability via WhatsApp communications.
