Job summary

Hussmann seeks a senior marketing/product leader to drive a multi-year roadmap for air-cooled and water-cooled self-contained products. You will lead marketing and business planning, partner with sales, engineering, manufacturing and finance to build solid business cases and profitability targets.

Responsibilities include commercialization, channel strategy, brand strength and cross-functional team development, with travel up to 25% and a preference for Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or business administration is required; MBA is preferred.
• 8 years of relevant marketing experience within durable goods companies.
• 5 years in product leadership/management.
• Experience supporting product & marketing management, new product development and strategy activities.
• Strong business and financial acumen including the ability to build business cases.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% - occasional international travel.
• Experience with refrigeration products is preferred; Spanish language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year product roadmap for portfolio of air-cooled and water-cooled self-contained products.
• Lead the marketing and business planning process for the identified products.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance, etc. to develop business cases and set profitability expectations.
• Oversee the commercialization activities including forecasting, pricing, promotion, packaging, and product management.
• Assess and evaluate channels of distribution to devise channel marketing strategies.
• Enhance and build brand strength to leverage competitive advantage.
• Develop and train market and sales personnel on the product.
• Continuously review performance of all aspects of the product group against plans and objectives.
• Maintain strong communication between marketing and sales to ensure smooth operations.
• Gather market intelligence and analyze customer needs and market trends.
• Provide direction to internal units and coordinate projects.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and value enhancement programs.
