Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com seeks a senior leader to build customer-facing recommendation and ranking algorithms within the Customer department. This role focuses on our home page ranking and recommendation systems, ideal for someone who loves data and solving customer problems at scale.

You will work closely with engineering and data science on ML challenges, influence senior leadership, and shape the product roadmap to maximise user satisfaction and revenue across a global platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading data-driven product development at scale in ranking, recommendations, search, or personalisation for high-traffic consumer products.
• Strong ability to blend quantitative analysis with qualitative insight to drive product decisions.
• Proven track record of establishing experimentation and measurement frameworks that impact business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term product vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap for recommendation systems.
• Drive deep understanding of user behavior at scale and identify improvement opportunities through experiments and analysis.
• Partner with data science and engineering to shape algorithmic approaches and translate ML capabilities into product outcomes.
• Lead product discovery practices, set standards for user research and opportunity sizing.
• Own KPI framework for recommendations, establishing north star metrics and targets.
