Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a senior leader to build customer-facing recommendation/ranking algorithms within the Customer department. This role focuses on the recommendations product, including home page ranking and recommendation systems.

You will work with data science and engineering to shape algorithmic approaches, define success metrics, and scale discovery practices. The work drives revenue, user satisfaction, and partner outcomes across a global platform.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data-driven product development in high-traffic consumer products.
• Technical fluency in ML or data science product development.
• Experience building experimentation and measurement frameworks.
• Ability to influence without authority across complex organisations.
• Strong analytical and business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term product vision and roadmap for recommendations.
• Analyze user behavior at scale to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering on algorithmic approaches.
• Lead product discovery with user research and competitive intelligence.
• Own KPI framework and set north star metrics.
• Design and govern A/B testing and experimentation strategy.
• Drive prioritisation and investment decisions across the backlog.
