Job summary

PLOS is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our fully remote UK-based team. You’ll lead a product area, work with designers, engineers and colleagues to uncover problems, shape strategy and test solutions, while embracing uncertainty and continuous discovery.

You’ll join active product teams solving meaningful publishing and research-service challenges, shaping what we do and how we do it with strong collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience as a Product Manager in a multidisciplinary digital product team.
• Experience using product discovery alongside delivery to understand problems and inform next steps.
• Experience navigating significant uncertainty or ambiguity to prioritise work.
• Experience turning complex problems into clear priorities, outcomes and steps.
• Experience making product decisions using user evidence, data and business goals.
• Strong ability to communicate product thinking to a wide range of people.
