Job summary

PLOS is seeking a Senior Product Manager for a 12-month maternity cover. This fully remote role accepts applications from the UK and offers a base salary of £65,000–£75,500 with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will lead discovery and delivery, shape product direction, and collaborate across design, engineering and other teams to solve meaningful problems in scholarly publishing.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• At least three years' experience working as a Product Manager in a multidisciplinary digital product team.
• Experience using product discovery alongside delivery to inform next steps.
• Experience working with significant uncertainty or ambiguity.
• Experience turning complex problems into clear priorities and outcomes.
• Experience making product decisions using user data, goals and constraints.
• Experience communicating product thinking clearly to a wide range of people.
• Experience collaborating with people outside the immediate product team.

Responsibilities
