Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Product Engineer to drive the lifecycle engineering of Pall Medical products from development through manufacturing transfer and launch. The role is based on-site in Cardiff and reports to the Senior Manager Product Engineering.

You will support product and process upgrades through VAVE, participate in continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to verify and validate new products and tools for high-volume

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in a Life Science oriented manufacturing company or similarly regulated industry.
• Understanding and experience of risk assessment and technical change control validation techniques within a regulated industry.
• Ability to use structured problem-solving techniques to drive to root cause and sustain improvements.
• Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with limited direction, on time and in full.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering activities to support the Product Lifecycle of Pall Medical products globally.
• Support Pall Medical product and process upgrades through VAVE.
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement projects and Kaizen events.
• Work closely with R&D and the cross functional Medical team to verify and validate new products, high volume manufacturing production lines and injection mold tools, from development through manufacturing transfer and product launch.
• Contribute to reliability improvement programs including best CAPA practices.
