Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Director to lead Direct Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Reliability Engineering at the Cardiff site. This on-site role guides DBS-driven improvements to safety, quality, delivery and cost, leveraging cross-functional collaboration with EHS, Facilities, and Supply Chain to maximize availability and performance.

The role reports to the Operations Director and requires up to 20% travel; you will shape leadership

Qualifications

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant Business, Manufacturing, Engineering or Science discipline.
Significant progressive experience leading complex site manufacturing and engineering in a high-volume, lean-driven environment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Lead site Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Reliability Engineering teams across high-volume, regulated operations.
Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost through DBS tools and structured problem solving.
Deliver improvements in OTD, yield, and equipment availability across multiple manufacturing platforms.
Build cross-functional relationships with suppliers and internal stake holders to improve flow and responsiveness.
Develop and engage manufacturing and engineering talent across the site.
