Job summary

Cytiva in Stevenage is seeking a Hardware Mechanical Engineer to contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept to production transfer. You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust mechanical solutions that meet medical device standards.

You will own detailed design, create CAD models and drawings, and identify design risks early with evidence-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Educated to BA, BSc, MA or MSc in relevant mechanical or design discipline.
• >3yrs experience delivering mechanical solutions.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as materials, tolerancing, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience in prototyping, testing, or product development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate requirements into practical designs.
