Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for the Project Procurement team to lead supplier subcontracts and provide commercial guidance across MBDA’s capabilities. You will manage a portfolio of in-service support projects, negotiating critical contracts with suppliers and delivering procurement support to technical and project teams at senior levels.

• Ability to author/define and review contracts and terms and conditions.
• Exposure to new business tendering and competitive tendering processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and line-manage a small team of procurement specialists.
• Subcontract suppliers and manage the full life-cycle of subcontracts.
• Provide commercial guidance to internal customers and project teams.
• Negotiate key contractual terms with critical suppliers across projects.
• Ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery of high-value sub-systems.
