Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and contract management across care services in London. You will design a strategic sourcing program and manage supplier negotiations to deliver measurable savings.

You will work closely with the Commercial Director, operational teams, and senior leaders to strengthen governance, drive value, and develop a small procurement team.

Qualifications

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead and develop our procurement and contract management function. You MUST have previous procurement experience within care homes, nursing homes, residential care or a closely related care environment. This is a newly created strategic role, reporting to the Commercial Director, with responsibility for improving commercial performance, delivering savings, strengthening supplier relationships and ensuring procurement effectively supports our care services.

The Role You'll develop and deliver a procurement strategy covering key areas of spend across our care and nursing home operations, as well as wider corporate expenditure. You'll lead strategic sourcing, category management, supplier negotiations and contract management across OPEX and CAPEX, using spend data and market knowledge to identify savings and improve value.

About You - Essential

Previous procurement experience within the care or nursing home sector is essential. Applications without relevant sector procurement experience will not be considered.
