Job summary

Arup in London is seeking a senior process engineer to lead design across municipal and industrial water projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver concept to detailed designs in regulated environments.

You will develop mass and energy balances, process data sheets, control philosophies, and commissioning plans, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to fee proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in chemical engineering or similar.
• Experience leading process engineering teams to deliver on time and budget.
• Experience using Biowin/GPS-X modelling software.
• Experience as process designer in HAZOP teams.
• Leadership in HazOp studies and working in regulated sectors.
• Development of PID’s, plant layouts, GA and energy/mass balances.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of others and liaise with engineers from other disciplines.
• Potential for immediate line management and recruitment for the process discipline in the region.
• Develop mass and energy balances, process data sheets, control philosophies, and commissioning plans.
• Involved in report writing and development of fee proposals and feasibility studies of plant operating and capital costs.
• Apply digital approaches and current analysis/design software in solutions.
