Job summary

MWH Treatment in the UK is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design across major water and wastewater projects. You will develop robust, buildable solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards, while guiding project teams to ensure safe, reliable asset performance.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multi- disciplinary teams to optimise design and delivery. Flexible hybrid working is available within the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in process design within water/wastewater or regulated engineering environments.
• Good understanding of water treatment principles and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to produce process calculations, PFDs, design philosophies and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design tasks and packages to agreed standards, budgets and programmes.
• Develop process calculations, treatment philosophies, plant layouts and design documentation.
• Support optioneering, process selection and design development across schemes.
• Review and assure process design outputs within your area of authority.
• Coordinate process design with mechanical, EICA, civil, digital and commissioning teams.
• Identify process risks and opportunities for optimisation across project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers, graduates and apprentices, sharing specialist knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with clients, discipline leads and project teams.
